Terms of use
These are the rules for using Split Pea. They are not a substitute for legal advice and may be updated as the app grows. Last updated 21 September 2026. Using the app means you agree to these terms.
Split Pea is a household money app for iPhone. It helps one house track bills, income, debts, savings, and a weekly extra payment. It is not a bank, a lender, a payment processor, a credit-score product, or financial advice. Nothing in the app moves money between accounts for you.
You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough in your province or territory to manage household money you enter. If you invite someone into a household, you are responsible for inviting people you trust. A household is a private book, not a public feed.
You enter amounts, due dates, rates, and who paid. You mark bills and extras paid. Split Pea does not connect to your bank. A statement scan is a suggestion you confirm. Payoff dates and “ahead / behind” lines are math from what you typed, not a promise and not a credit report.
People you add, or who join with the household invite, can see that house’s bills, debts, income, goals, notes, and activity. Leave the household if you should no longer see it. Deleting your account removes your login and this phone’s copy. A partner can keep the house.
Do not use Split Pea to harass anyone in the house, to store content you do not have the right to store, or to try to break into another household. We may suspend or remove an account that abuses sign-in, invites, or another person’s data.
The app is provided as a household tool. PixelBeast and Split Pea are not responsible for missed payments, interest a lender charges, a split you disagree with, or a number someone typed wrong. Use your own judgment with real bills and debts.
If you download Split Pea from the App Store, Apple’s terms also apply to that purchase or download. Sign in with Apple is handled by Apple. We do not receive your Apple password.
We may update these terms when the product changes. The date at the top of this page is the current version. If a change is material, we will say so in the app or on this site when we can.
